The hammer curl is a get arm exercise that that focuses on the bicep brachii, brachialis and extensor muscles. This curl helps to elongate the bicep brachii muscle. You do this exercise with your palms facing each other. You than curl the weight in a semi-circle. At no point should your wrists turn or twist during the movement. Doing the hammer curl is a great variation of the curl. This angles the lift in a different way helping to target different parts if the bicep.
