BEACH RUNNING


There is some great benefits to running on the beach.  You can burn 20 to 30% more calories running on the beach do to the fact that loose sand makes it much harder to do.  The loose sand can also help strengthen your ankles.  The sand has more give that helps cushion.  So that you don’t have that constant pounding like you do with harder surfaces.  This is just a hand full of the benefits that you can get from beach running.
