MEDITERRANEAN DIET

Over the last 20 years we have found that people that live around the Mediterranean Sea on average live longer than people in the United States.  Reach found that it had a lot to do with there diet, which we call the Mediterranean diet today.  This doesn't mean that you eat spaghetti and pizza a the whole time.  The Mediterranean diet is made up of lots of fruits and vegetables, lots tomato and tomato sauces, cooking almost everything with olive oil, drink one to two cups of win a day, fish two to three times a week, more lean meats, more whole grains and nuts.  Plus, they eat less and don’t snack as often as we do in the US.  I’m not saying do a Mediterranean diet, what I am saying is just look at what some of these foods can do to help you.
