WAIST TO HIP RATIO

Waist to hip ratio can tell you if you are at a higher risk of health problems.  This is how to test your ratio.  It is waist divided by hips.  You want to take the measurement of hips at there thinnest spot and take the measurement of the waist at the widest spot.  All measurements should be in inches.  If your ratio is higher than 1.0 for men or 0.8 for women than you are at greater risk for health problems down the road.
